After that gets done they can give a certain yes/no on whether the project is possible. They go all the way up to $3 million, helping to fund their “feasibility study,” which they’re hoping to launch next year. LiftPort has offered a list of “stretch goals,” additional projects to be completed if they raise more money. To boil all that down into one concise point, there simply is no way to build a space elevator that will be useful. Since a full connection between the Earth and the Moon is still decades away, it would work as a checkpoint: A rocket could be sent to the orbiting station and people or objects could be lowered to the Moon, similar to how the robot in the test project would travel. In order to build an elevator this big, which we’ve already established is not big enough to be useful, you’d have to go to the moon anyway. When it got close enough, a cable would eject from the capsule and attach to the surface of the moon, allowing for transport between the surface and the capsule. In the lunar version, a space capsule would be attached to a rocket and sent toward the Moon. The robot launch could help with the Lunar Elevator, which in turn could help with the Earth Elevator. This is more of a team rebuilding exercise. Sending atomic clocks close to the sun could unlock the secrets of dark matter. It’s not a stretch to think they’ll able to reach that goal, since the team made it only a quarter of a mile shy of that distance before the company went out of business in 2007. Futuristic Moon Elevator Idea Takes Aim at Lunar Lifts. THE PRESIDENTS SECRET ELEVATOR - Elevator to the Moon (VR) CaptainSauce 2. ![]() The LiftPort Group is funding a precursor project by sending a robot two kilometers up via a cable and building a test platform of high-altitude balloons that are tethered to the ground. Head south along the river to find an elevator leading to another Site of Grace. Continue through the elevator to find another new area. Lure the mimics out to the staircase first, then grab the Moon of Nokstella talisman from the treasure chest. ![]() The idea of a giant tower that can carry us from Earth to outer space is science fiction, but a company has successfully Kickstarted what they say is their first step to building one on the Moon. Proceed up a long staircase into a chapel with two invader mimic tears and a swordstress. The space elevator was first proposed in 1895, but it might even predate that.
